Hub Operations Intern – Itahari

About the role

The Hub Operations Intern will support daily ground activities at the Itahari hub, ensuring smooth parcel handling, accurate record‑keeping, and efficient last‑mile delivery. Working under the Hub In‑Charge, the intern will gain hands‑on experience in logistics, cash reconciliation, and rider coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Receive parcels from the Kathmandu hub and record them accurately in the system.
• Assist the Hub In‑Charge in allocating tasks to delivery agents.
• Track and reconcile cash‑on‑delivery (COD) collections and prepare them for bank deposit.
• Coordinate with delivery riders, support onboarding of new riders, and provide walk‑in support for unresolved issues.
• Manage communication with the transportation company for return shipments.
• Maintain office documents, records, and provide basic administrative support.

Required profile

• Pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Target‑driven with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage field activities.
• Familiarity with internet, email, and basic office software.
• Possession of a bike driving license.
