Inbound Sales Specialist

About the role

The Inbound Sales Specialist is a full‑time, on‑site position in Kathmandu, responsible for handling incoming enquiries from prospective and existing travellers. The role focuses on delivering detailed information about travel packages, guiding customers through itinerary options, pricing and terms, and converting leads into confirmed bookings while ensuring a professional and positive experience.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to phone calls, messages and emails from inbound prospects promptly.
• Provide comprehensive details on travel packages, itineraries, pricing and terms.
• Convert inbound leads into confirmed bookings and upsell relevant services.
• Maintain accurate sales records and update the CRM system daily.
• Coordinate with operations, ticketing and other internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Follow up on leads and nurture relationships to maximise sales opportunities.
• Stay up‑to‑date with product knowledge and travel offerings.
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable travel solutions.

Required profile

• Strong customer service and support abilities to manage enquiries and resolve issues.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting travel options and building trust.
• Proven sales capability to meet or exceed inbound sales targets.
• Focus on delivering a high‑quality customer experience and fostering long‑term relationships.
• Relevant experience in travel, tourism, hospitality or a similar customer‑facing role.
• Proficiency with common office and communication tools and basic data‑entry skills.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kathmandu and collaborate with internal teams.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Tourism, Hospitality or a related field is an advantage.
