Interior Designer - Hospitality Project

About the role

The Interior Designer for Hospitality Projects creates functional, aesthetically pleasing, and brand‑aligned spaces that enhance the guest experience. You will translate client vision into cohesive design plans, oversee renovations, and ensure compliance with safety and accessibility standards.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret the client’s brand vision and develop design concepts that reflect the establishment’s identity.
• Plan layouts to optimise guest flow, staff workflow, and functionality in high‑traffic areas such as lobbies and dining rooms.
• Select furniture, lighting, colour schemes, fabrics and décor that balance ambience with durability.
• Oversee renovation and refurbishment projects, ensuring they meet current trends and brand standards.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations and accessibility requirements.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and project teams to integrate interior design with overall building systems.
• Conduct post‑occupancy evaluations to measure design success and inform future improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in hospitality construction, with at least one completed 5‑star hotel project.
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on schedule.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD and other design software.
• Creation of detailed construction drawings.
• Interior execution and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection.
• In‑depth knowledge of building codes, safety and accessibility regulations.
• Site preparation, layout planning and material management.
• Advanced space‑planning expertise.
