International Logistics Specialist

About the role

Jiwanta Dhuwani and Agent Service is seeking an International Logistics Specialist to manage and coordinate global shipments from origin to destination. The role requires strong knowledge of freight forwarding, shipping documentation, customs coordination, and excellent communication skills.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate air, sea, road, and multimodal freight shipments from origin to destination.
• Handle end‑to‑end freight forwarding operations, including booking cargo with carriers.
• Communicate with overseas agents, shipping lines, airlines, transporters, customs agents, and customers.
• Obtain, compare, and negotiate freight quotations.
• Prepare, verify, and manage shipping documents such as BL, AWB, DO, commercial invoice, packing list, and certificate of origin.
• Monitor shipment status, track ETD/ETA, and provide timely updates.
• Coordinate customs clearance and resolve shipment discrepancies, delays, or damages.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, quotations, invoices, and operational documents.
• Collaborate with the Finance Department on freight invoices and vendor payments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Business or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in freight forwarding, shipping, logistics or international trade.
• Strong knowledge of international freight forwarding procedures and customs documentation.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict shipment deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with freight‑forwarding software or ERP systems.
