Inventory Incharge – Manufacturing Industry

About the role

We are looking for an Inventory Incharge to manage stock control for a manufacturing operation in Satungal, Kathmandu. The role ensures accurate inventory records, timely dispatches, and optimal stock levels to support production.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date inventory records, including system entries and physical stock reconciliation.
• Monitor Delivery Order vs. Dispatch ratio to ensure orders are dispatched accurately and on time.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies between system stock and physical inventory.
• Oversee receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatching of inventory in coordination with warehouse and dispatch teams.
• Monitor inventory movement and maintain optimum stock levels to prevent stock‑outs and overstocking.
• Implement FIFO/FEFO practices to reduce product expiry and improve stock utilization.
• Investigate and report stock discrepancies, damaged goods, expired products, and dispatch errors.
• Coordinate with sales, procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
• Prepare regular inventory, dispatch, variance, damage, and expiry reports for management review.
• Support continuous improvement of inventory control processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Required profile

• At least a bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an inventory officer in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control processes and ability to reconcile system and physical stock.
• Familiarity with FIFO/FEFO practices and stock rotation.
• Ability to generate accurate reports and work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
