Junior Accountant

About the role

The Junior Accountant is responsible for supporting the day‑to‑day accounting operations of the organization. The role includes invoicing, payment verification, billing, petty cash management, inventory entries, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Verify payments and supporting documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Manage billing activities and maintain customer billing records.
• Record and reconcile petty cash transactions.
• Enter and maintain inventory records in the accounting system.
• Assist in maintaining books of accounts and financial documentation.
• Perform data entry and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Support month‑end and year‑end accounting activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (currently pursuing or completed) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting, billing, invoicing, or related finance functions.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Proficiency in other MS Office applications.
• Experience with accounting systems.
• Invoicing and billing processes.
