Lab Assistant – Support Laboratory Operations

About the role

Yeti Paints Nepal Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a responsible Lab Assistant to support routine laboratory activities in its paint manufacturing facility. The role involves handling samples, assisting with quality tests, maintaining records, and ensuring a clean and safe laboratory environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist laboratory personnel with routine testing procedures and sample preparation.
• Collect, label, organize, and store samples according to instructions.
• Maintain accurate records of samples, test results, observations, and laboratory activities.
• Clean and maintain laboratory equipment, tools, and work areas.
• Report equipment issues, irregularities, or unusual observations to senior staff.
• Perform basic data entry and help prepare laboratory reports using computer systems.
• Support the quality team in day‑to‑day tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• +2 level qualification in Science or equivalent.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures accurately.
• Good organizational and record‑keeping skills.
• Responsible, disciplined, and able to work safely in a laboratory setting.
• Willingness to learn laboratory techniques and quality processes.
