About the role
This part‑time, on‑site position at Nirvana College Nepal involves delivering sociology courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students. The lecturer will design and present lectures, assess student progress, and support academic development.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct engaging lectures and seminars in sociology.
- Prepare and update course materials, including syllabi and reading lists.
- Evaluate assignments, exams, and overall student performance.
- Provide academic support and mentorship to students.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
Required profile
- Strong knowledge and expertise in sociology.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver effective lectures and engage learners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in course design and curriculum development.
- Master's or PhD in sociology (preferred) and prior university‑level teaching experience (advantageous).
