Legal Officer / Senior Legal Officer

About the role

The Legal Officer / Senior Legal Officer will provide legal support and advisory services to the organization and its clients, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate contracts and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare opinions and reports on regulatory and compliance matters.
• Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to address legal issues.
• Manage legal documentation, records and case files.
• Support the resolution of disputes and provide advisory assistance as needed.
• Assist in policy development, risk analysis and implementation of legal best practices across HR and business processes.

Required profile

• LLB or equivalent law degree; advanced degree or specialization is an advantage.
• 2‑4 years of experience as a Legal Officer or in a similar role, preferably in HR, corporate or employment law.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and local languages.
• Good computer and documentation skills.
