About the role

Camellia Higher Secondary School is seeking a passionate Lower Secondary English Teacher to join its faculty in Kathmandu. The successful candidate will deliver engaging English lessons to students in the lower secondary grades, fostering both academic growth and personal development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver effective English lessons for lower secondary students.
• Develop students' reading, writing, speaking and listening skills.
• Create lesson plans, assignments, examinations and other instructional materials.
• Assess student performance, provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate academic records.
• Maintain classroom discipline and encourage active participation.
• Promote an inclusive, student‑centered learning environment.
• Participate in school meetings, training programs and extracurricular activities.
• Communicate regularly with parents, colleagues and school management regarding student progress.

Required profile

• Qualified and dedicated educator with a genuine enthusiasm for teaching.
• Ability to create an engaging and supportive classroom atmosphere.
• Commitment to supporting students' academic and personal development.
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience at the lower secondary level.
