Market Representative

About the role

The Market Representative will work on‑site in Kathmandu, promoting Speedy Traders' logistics and delivery services to potential clients. This full‑time position focuses on generating new business, maintaining client relationships, and supporting customers throughout the delivery process.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach prospective clients, conduct sales visits and present service offerings.
• Negotiate service terms, close deals and ensure profitable relationships.
• Coordinate with operations teams to align service delivery with client expectations.
• Track market trends, identify new opportunities and provide basic training on service processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain customer satisfaction and enhance brand visibility.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Proven sales and negotiation abilities.
• Experience in client onboarding or training is a plus.
• Basic understanding of logistics, delivery or supply‑chain operations preferred.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kathmandu and conduct regular field visits.
• Proactive, target‑oriented mindset with good problem‑solving and time‑management skills.
• Prior experience in a sales, market representative or customer‑facing role is advantageous.
• Minimum high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field is a plus.
