Media Marketing Manager

About the role

Marching Ants is looking for a commercially driven Media Marketing Manager to sell its media products, advertising placements and brand partnership opportunities to brands and agencies. You will identify prospective clients, build relationships with decision‑makers, develop proposals and close business. This role carries revenue targets and requires active prospecting, confident pitching and consistent follow‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Sell the company’s media products and advertising placements, including cinema advertising, digital screens, outdoor media, sponsorships and brand activation opportunities.
• Identify and approach brands, marketing teams, media agencies and potential partners.
• Build relationships with brand managers, marketing heads, media planners and procurement teams.
• Understand clients’ campaign objectives, target audiences and budgets, and recommend suitable products and placements.
• Develop sales presentations, media proposals and packages in coordination with internal teams.
• Pitch opportunities, negotiate commercial terms and close deals within approved pricing and margins.
• Own the sales process from prospecting and proposal development through booking, renewal and payment follow‑up.
• Maintain an updated sales pipeline, revenue forecast and record of client interactions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in media sales, advertising sales, sponsorship sales or related business development.
• Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets and closing brand or agency accounts.
• An established network within Nepal’s brand, advertising or media industry is strongly preferred.
• Experience selling cinema, outdoor, digital media or brand activation opportunities is an advantage.

Required skills

• Ability to turn media opportunities into clear, commercially attractive proposals.
• Understanding of media formats, audience relevance, campaign objectives and pricing.
• Confident communication in English and Nepali.
• Strong ownership, organisation and follow‑through.
• Comfortable working with revenue targets and managing multiple opportunities simultaneously.
• Proficiency in presentations, spreadsheets and CRM or sales pipeline tools.
