MIS Officer – Data Management & Reporting

About the role

The MIS Officer will be responsible for collecting, validating, and maintaining data from multiple departments and systems. This role supports management by preparing accurate reports, dashboards, and analyses that drive business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, enter, update and maintain data from various departments and company systems.
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly and ad‑hoc MIS reports for management review.
• Verify data accuracy, completeness and consistency; coordinate corrections with relevant staff.
• Maintain MIS databases, Excel sheets, dashboards, CRM/ERP records and other reporting tools.
• Consolidate departmental information into summarized reports and presentations.
• Monitor performance data, highlight gaps or inconsistencies and alert senior staff.
• Coordinate timely submission of departmental reports and maintain proper documentation.
• Assist in custom reporting, data analysis and support business planning.
• Recommend improvements to data collection and reporting processes while ensuring confidentiality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, IT, Computer Science or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in MIS, reporting, data management or business operations.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset and ability to handle confidential information.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Nepali.
