About the role
The Module Leader for Programming 0 will introduce students to fundamental programming concepts, guiding them through writing, organizing, debugging, and applying code using real‑world data.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the Programming 0 module, including lectures, labs, and practical sessions.
- Design and mark assessments, provide student support, and ensure academic quality assurance.
Required profile
- Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computing, Information Technology or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to teach programming fundamentals to beginners, with at least one year of higher‑education teaching experience, preferably in an international programme.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of core programming concepts, object‑oriented programming and debugging techniques.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, C#, C or C++ and experience working with CSV, JSON, XML and HTML data formats.
