Operations Agent

About the role

DHL Express Nepal is seeking a dedicated and detail‑oriented Operations Agent to support Service Centre operations. The role involves handling inbound and outbound shipment processing, customs support, shipment monitoring, documentation management and operational coordination to ensure service excellence and on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Process export shipments according to DHL operational procedures and checkpoints.
• Monitor shipments to prevent restricted and prohibited items from entering the DHL network.
• Maintain bagging guidelines per destination hub requirements and image supporting documentation.
• Prepare and allocate FD and TP shipments to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor DPSS shipments and coordinate with stakeholders for additional documentation.
• Update operational systems such as CALMS and UAS for shipment recovery, uplift status and flight movements.
• Support outbound clearance activities including documentation preparation, manifest processing and customs scanning.
• Assist inbound clearance processes, delivery order preparation and IAS billing.
• Process inbound shipments upon arrival and capture accurate shipment information in the DHL network.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and monitor operational equipment, taking corrective action when needed.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure service standards and timelines are met.
• Collaborate with Operations team members to achieve daily objectives and provide administrative support to Service Centres.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree completed or currently pursuing (preferred).
• Experience in DHL operations or logistics/courier operations is an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Nepali.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and maintain attention to detail.
• Analytical, planning and decision‑making abilities with a results‑oriented mindset.
