People Assistant

About the role

As the People Assistant, you will support the HR/People team in Australia by handling day‑to‑day administrative tasks and strategic HR processes to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, takes initiative, and possesses strong organisational skills.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and organising job reports, onboarding reports and other required reports.
• Support calendar management, response handling and survey creation for the team.
• Manage significant dates/events and generate related reports.
• Prepare and send emails/notices for important events and activities.
• Update templates, presentations and documents as needed.
• Communicate policies, procedures and necessary information to teams in Nepal and Australia.
• Maintain up‑to‑date HR records and distribute daily, weekly and monthly updates.
• Maintain and update information on the company’s HR systems.

Required profile

• University graduate in a relevant field.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Good understanding of HR concepts with an interest in working closely with people.
• Detail‑oriented, takes initiative and is an enthusiastic learner.
• High degree of integrity and sensitivity when handling information.
• Effective both independently and as part of a team.
