Physiotherapist – Orthopedic & Neurological Care

About the role

The Physiotherapist will join M.T Hospital’s multidisciplinary team in Dhobighat, Lalitpur, providing comprehensive orthopedic, neurological and musculoskeletal care. Working full‑time on‑site, you will assess patients, design individualized treatment plans and deliver both manual therapy and physiotherapy interventions to improve function and reduce pain.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed physical assessments of patients with orthopedic, neurological and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Develop and implement personalized rehabilitation and exercise programs.
• Deliver manual therapy techniques and physiotherapy treatments, monitoring progress and adjusting plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on injury prevention, home exercise routines and long‑term health maintenance.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Strong clinical background in physiotherapy assessment and manual therapy.
• Ability to manage orthopedic and neurological cases, including pain management and functional training.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams.
• Solid understanding of evidence‑based practice, clinical documentation and professional ethics.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution and a valid Nepalese professional registration.
• Willingness to work on‑site full‑time in Dhobighat and maintain professional conduct in a busy hospital environment.
• Prior experience in hospital or rehabilitation settings is an advantage; familiarity with manual‑therapy focused approaches is a plus.
