Procurement Officer – International Procurement

About the role

We are seeking a Procurement Officer to manage both domestic and international sourcing of steel, raw materials, machinery and related items. The role involves coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and cost‑effective purchasing.

Key responsibilities

• Handle domestic and international procurement of steel, raw materials, machinery and related items.
• Identify, negotiate and manage relationships with international suppliers, manufacturers and traders.
• Prepare and process RFQs, quotations, purchase orders, contracts and import documentation.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs, banks and internal stakeholders to ensure on‑time delivery.
• Monitor global prices, market trends, lead times and supplier performance.
• Ensure quality, cost‑effectiveness and timely availability of materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in international procurement, preferably in steel or manufacturing.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Good knowledge of import/export processes and documentation.
