Project Manager – Irrigation & Highway

About the role

We are looking for a proactive, results‑oriented Project Manager to lead irrigation and highway civil construction projects across multiple districts in Nepal. You will be responsible for steering projects from planning through to successful completion, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with all contractual and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor overall progress of civil construction works, guaranteeing timely delivery according to approved plans and specifications.
• Identify risks and delays, develop and implement mitigation measures.
• Allocate and manage manpower, materials, equipment, and other resources efficiently.
• Ensure strict compliance with contractual terms, project specifications, drawings, standards, and relevant regulations.
• Support contract administration, documentation, reporting, and coordination in line with PPMO and FIDIC agreements.
• Conduct regular site and progress reviews, preparing reports on status, issues, risks, and recommended actions.
• Coordinate with technical teams to resolve construction challenges and maintain smooth execution.
• Liaise with clients, government authorities, consultants, contractors, and local stakeholders to facilitate implementation.
• Uphold health, safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proactive and results‑driven attitude with strong leadership capabilities.
• Extensive experience (minimum 7 years) in managing civil construction projects, particularly irrigation and highway works.
• Solid understanding of FIDIC contract principles and PPMO processes.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies and local communities.
