Project Manager - Road Construction

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead road and highway construction projects from mobilization through final handover. The role involves on‑site delivery, contract administration, client and government liaison, and strict quality, safety, cost, and schedule control.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage project work plans, schedules, and resource mobilization plans.
• Oversee day‑to‑day site operations ensuring work follows approved drawings, specifications, and BOQ.
• Administer contracts, process extensions of time, variations, and force‑majeure notices.
• Coordinate with road division offices, consultants, and supervising engineers for compliance and statutory approvals.
• Prepare and verify running bills, measurement books, and monthly cost reports; monitor budget versus actuals.
• Plan and coordinate equipment (excavators, breakers, rollers), labor, and material procurement; manage subcontractors and vendors.
• Submit regular progress reports and liaise with local stakeholders, government offices, and community representatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing road or highway construction projects.
• Proven ability to control project cost, schedule, and quality.
• Strong knowledge of contract administration and government regulations.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder and client interaction.
