Quality Assurance Engineer – Mid‑Senior Level

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on QA Engineer to own quality across our engineering team. In this leadership position you will define QA strategy, establish testing processes, and build the automation foundation for platforms used daily by thousands of users.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business and functional requirements, identify gaps, and create comprehensive test scenarios and cases.
• Design, develop and execute manual and automated test cases, covering functional, regression, integration, end‑to‑end and performance testing.
• Build and maintain scalable test‑automation frameworks using Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or equivalent.
• Establish automation standards, reusable components, test data strategies and maintainable test suites.
• Perform API testing (Postman/Swagger/JMeter) and database validation using SQL queries.
• Identify, document, prioritize and track defects throughout their lifecycle, collaborating with development teams for resolution.

Required profile

• 4+ years of software QA/testing experience, with at least 1 year owning QA strategy or leading QA activities.
• Hands‑on experience designing and building test‑automation frameworks from scratch.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum and risk‑based testing.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail.
