Recovery Manager

About the role

Neofin Hire Purchase is seeking two experienced recovery professionals to lead phone‑based and field collections, protect the health of its loan book and drive strategic recovery initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, guide and motivate a team of recovery officers across phone and field collections.
• Allocate accounts and manage daily workload by bucket (DPD), product and region.
• Build recovery strategies for mobile phone and four‑wheeler portfolios to reduce overdues and NPAs.
• Personally handle high‑value, complex and escalated accounts.
• Coordinate with Business, Legal and vehicle repossession teams, ensuring compliance with NRB directives.
• Review settlement, rescheduling or restructuring proposals within policy.
• Track team performance, prepare MIS reports and train the team on ethical collection practices.

Required profile

• Natural leader able to drive a team toward targets while maintaining trust.
• Strong negotiator comfortable in tough conversations with customers, guarantors and dealers.
• Sharp with numbers, able to read portfolio data and spot trends early.
• Clear communicator who can work across departments.
• Firm, fair and ethical with regular field visits, including outside the valley.
• Bachelor’s degree in management, business or related field (Master’s preferred) and 4‑5 years recovery/collections experience, including 2 years leading a team.
