About the role
We are seeking an experienced Retail Software Development Consultant to enhance and expand the retail/inventory management module of our Smart ERP POS system. The role is contract‑based and can be performed from Kathmandu or remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Enhance the retail/inventory management module within the Smart ERP POS system.
- Optimize existing POS functionality and develop new features.
- Integrate payment gateways, hardware devices and third‑party APIs.
- Improve architecture and performance of the cloud platform.
Required profile
- Proven experience building retail, POS or inventory management systems.
- Ability to work independently with clear deliverables and timelines.
Required skills
- Strong backend development (specify your technology stack).
- Knowledge of billing, tax compliance and ERP systems (preferably Nepal IRD/CBMS).
- Experience with payment gateway, hardware and third‑party API integration.
- Cloud architecture and performance optimisation.
