Sales and Business Development Officer

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Sales and Business Development Officer to expand our parcel and courier services in Bhaktapur. The role focuses on identifying new customers, promoting service features, and achieving defined sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach businesses, online sellers, corporate clients, and other potential customers.
• Promote parcel and courier services, highlighting rates, features, and benefits.
• Generate leads through field visits, calls, referrals, social media, and other channels.
• Convert leads into regular business and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
• Prepare quotations and proposals for corporate and regular customers.
• Maintain records of leads, client visits, follow‑ups, and sales activities.
• Work toward assigned monthly and quarterly sales and revenue targets.
• Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback.
• Prepare regular sales reports and provide updates to the reporting manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Marketing, Business Administration or related field (preferred).
• 1–2 years of experience in sales, business development, courier or logistics (freshers with strong communication skills may also apply).
• Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
• Proactive, target‑oriented and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Willingness to travel for client visits and business development activities.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency in MS Office.
• Basic proficiency in Google Workspace.
