Sales & Business Development Manager – Vehicle Rental

About the role

We are looking for a Sales & Business Development Manager to lead the creation and operation of a scooter rental platform in Kathmandu. The role will drive sales, build B2B partnerships, and ensure optimal fleet utilization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage a scooter rental management system covering customers, contracts, bookings, payments, and fleet operations.
• Maximize fleet utilization while minimizing idle scooters.
• Identify and establish rental stations across Kathmandu Valley based on market demand.
• Drive sales, acquire customers, and secure B2B partnerships to grow the business.
• Manage pricing, rental revenue, operating costs, margins, and overall profitability.
• Design commercially viable rental packages, contracts, and partnership models.
• Monitor fleet, station, sales, and profitability performance and prepare regular reports.
• Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure fleet availability and service efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong skills in sales strategy, commercial management, negotiation, and business development.
• Experience in fleet or rental operations, or technology‑driven businesses.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in management or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sales or Business Development Manager in rental, mobility, automobile/EV, technology projects, or related sectors.
