Sales Manager

About the role

The Sales Manager will lead Biomed International’s sales operations in Kathmandu, overseeing the promotion and distribution of a wide range of medical products to hospitals, clinics and other healthcare institutions. This full‑time, on‑site position requires developing and executing sales strategies, building strong client relationships and driving revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies across multiple medical specialties.
• Lead, mentor and set targets for the sales team, monitoring performance and preparing regular reports.
• Conduct market research, identify new business opportunities and coordinate product presentations and demonstrations.
• Manage relationships with hospitals, clinics and other healthcare providers, negotiating contracts and participating in tenders.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery, customer satisfaction and compliance with company policies.
• Represent the company at industry events, meetings and trade shows.

Required profile

• Proven sales management and leadership abilities, including target setting and performance monitoring.
• Strong understanding of the healthcare and medical devices sector, especially hospital equipment and specialized products.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing or related field; healthcare or biomedical engineering background is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience in sales or business development within medical products or pharmaceuticals, with a record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Organizational and time‑management capabilities with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools.
• Advanced use of MS Office.
• Familiarity with digital communication platforms for sales activities and reporting.
