Sales Officer – Cement, Steel & Construction Materials

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic, target‑oriented, and customer‑focused Sales Officer to drive sales and market growth for our range of cement, steel, and construction materials across Narayanghat, Nepalgunj, Banke, Bardiya and Dang.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve assigned sales targets, revenue goals and market‑development objectives.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, retailers, contractors, builders, developers, engineers and project owners.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Promote and sell cement, steel and other construction materials to existing and prospective customers.
• Regularly visit dealers, hardware shops, construction sites, projects and key influencers.
• Monitor market demand, competitor activities, pricing, schemes and customer preferences.
• Ensure effective product availability and market coverage within the assigned territory.
• Generate leads and follow up on quotations, orders, payments and deliveries.
• Coordinate with distributors/dealers and internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Support dealers and retailers in achieving their sales objectives.
• Track outstanding payments and coordinate with relevant teams for timely collection.
• Prepare regular sales, market‑visit, competitor and collection reports.
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure high level of customer satisfaction.
• Participate in promotional activities, dealer meetings, product launches, exhibitions and other marketing initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Civil Engineering or related field (preferred).
• 2–5 years of sales experience, preferably in cement, steel, construction materials, hardware or building materials.
• Strong knowledge of the construction‑materials market in Western/Central Nepal is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
