Sales Officer (FMCG)

About the role

The Sales Officer will drive sales growth in the assigned territory, building and maintaining relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, supermarkets and key accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets within the assigned territory.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, supermarkets, and key accounts.
• Visit assigned markets regularly to ensure product availability, visibility, and proper merchandising.
• Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities.
• Manage distributor and retailer networks to maximize sales and market coverage.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in FMCG sales, preferably in a field‑sales role.
• Experience handling distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and modern trade (advantage).
• Strong knowledge of local market dynamics and FMCG distribution channels.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
• Must have a personal vehicle and a valid driving license.
