Sales & Reservations Officer

About the role

The Sales & Reservations Officer drives sales, develops new business opportunities, and manages both domestic and international airline reservations and ticketing. The role requires strong customer focus, negotiation abilities, and the capacity to build lasting relationships with corporate clients and travel agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales activities to meet monthly and annual targets, generate new individual, corporate, and agency customers, and identify upselling opportunities.
• Handle domestic and international airline reservations, ticket issuance, amendments, cancellations, refunds, and provide accurate fare and policy information.
• Manage individual and corporate accounts, prepare quotations and customized travel solutions, monitor bookings and payments, and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Respond promptly to customer enquiries, resolve complaints, and coordinate with airlines, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure high‑quality service.
• Maintain accurate sales, booking, and account records, prepare performance reports, and ensure compliance with company policies and airline ticketing requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Travel & Tourism, Hospitality Management, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in travel agency sales, airline reservations, ticketing or business development, preferably handling corporate accounts.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GDS platforms such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
• Strong command of MS Office and basic reporting tools.
