Sales & Reservations Officer

About the role

The Sales & Reservations Officer will combine field sales activities with airline ticket reservation duties, acting as the main point of contact for individual, corporate and agency customers. This position requires frequent on‑site visits and a valid driver’s licence, preferably with personal transport.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new customers and business opportunities through weekly field visits.
• Handle domestic and international air ticket reservations, issuance, changes, cancellations and refunds.
• Develop and manage individual and corporate accounts, including preparation of quotations and proposals.
• Coordinate with airlines, suppliers, customers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities for travel products and services.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, bookings, payments and outstanding amounts.
• Provide regular sales and performance reports to management and monitor outstanding customer payments.
• Achieve sales, profit/margin and business‑development targets set by the company.

Required profile

• Previous experience in travel agency sales and/or reservations.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑management skills.
• Sales‑oriented and target‑driven approach.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple bookings and customers simultaneously.
• Commitment to a minimum two‑year tenure.
