Search Engine Optimization Specialist

About the role

Creative Zinc is looking for a full‑time Search Engine Optimization Specialist to join its Kathmandu office. You will lead the planning, execution and monitoring of SEO strategies that drive organic traffic and improve search rankings for a diverse client portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with digital marketing goals.
• Conduct keyword research, on‑page optimization, and metadata enhancements.
• Execute ethical link‑building campaigns and outreach initiatives.
• Perform regular SEO audits to identify technical, content and structural issues.
• Analyze website performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console and other web analytics tools.
• Prepare performance reports with actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with content, design and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all digital assets.

Required profile

• Strong background in keyword research and on‑page SEO.
• Proven experience conducting SEO audits and fixing identified issues.
• Hands‑on expertise in link‑building and off‑page optimization.
• Ability to interpret data from web analytics platforms and translate findings into recommendations.
• Good understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors and current SEO best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and reporting skills with high attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, IT or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of independent SEO experience.
