Search Marketing Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Search Marketing Specialist to join a US‑based B2B marketing agency. The role will drive search visibility and generate qualified leads for B2B clients through organic, AI‑driven, and paid search channels.

Key responsibilities

• Run SEO for B2B clients: keyword research, technical audits, on‑page optimization, content planning and link building
• Optimize content for answer engines using schema, FAQs and featured snippet targeting
• Increase client citations in AI tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini (GEO)
• Track AI visibility through prompt‑set tracking and share‑of‑voice reporting
• Plan, launch and optimize paid campaigns on Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and LinkedIn Ads
• Manage keywords, ad copy, bidding, budgets, A/B tests and conversion tracking
• Focus on B2B goals: qualified leads, cost per lead and pipeline
• Report monthly on performance using GA4, Search Console, Looker Studio and ad platforms
• Collaborate with US strategists and writers while staying current on search, AI and ad platform updates
• Help build SOPs and support future team hiring

Required profile

• 4+ years of hands‑on digital marketing experience covering both SEO and paid search, preferably with B2B, SaaS or tech clients
• Strong technical and on‑page SEO skills
• Proven experience managing Google Ads campaigns with real budgets
• Experience with LinkedIn Ads is a plus
• Understanding of AEO and GEO: schema, entity‑based optimization, and AI search citation mechanisms
• Proficiency with Google Search Console, GA4, Google Ads, Ahrefs or Semrush, Screaming Frog and Looker Studio
• Excellent written and spoken English for direct communication with US clients and teammates
