Security Engineer – Infoblox DDI & Database Security (Imperva DAM)

About the role

SCS is building a dedicated delivery capability for two enterprise security platforms – Infoblox DDI and Imperva Database Activity Monitoring. The Security Engineer will own implementation and ongoing support for regional customers, working directly with network, infrastructure, database and security teams in live enterprise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and configure Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) across internal and external DNS zones.
• Install Imperva/Thales DAM agents and gateways, define audit and security policies, and tune them to meet compliance requirements.
• Run health checks, apply upgrades and patches, and manage incidents and change requests through to closure.
• Produce implementation documentation, SOPs, root‑cause analyses and periodic service reports.
• Act as the day‑to‑day technical point of contact for assigned customers, including on‑site visits during project phases.

Required profile

• Strong fundamentals in DNS architecture, zone design and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and its integration with DNS/DHCP.
• Understanding of database platforms (Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL) including user/privilege models and audit logs.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, explain technical issues to non‑technical stakeholders and manage customer expectations.
• Willingness to travel internationally on short notice, primarily across the Gulf region.
• Disciplined documentation, status updates and follow‑through.
