About the role
Relax Tax Nepal, the Kathmandu back office of Relax Tax Limited, a UK‑based accountancy firm, is seeking a Semi‑Senior Accountant to join its growing team. The role is based in Lazimpat, Kathmandu and focuses on UK bookkeeping, year‑end accounts and corporation tax returns.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements and UK Corporation Tax Returns for clients, ensuring compliance with UK regulations.
- Perform UK bookkeeping and year‑end accounts, handling all necessary documentation and reconciliations.
Required profile
- Strong experience in Xero and QuickBooks accounting software, demonstrating proficiency in managing client accounts.
- Good understanding of UK accounting standards and taxation, capable of interpreting tax legislation.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines, delivering accurate work under pressure.
- Professional and detail‑oriented approach, maintaining high quality in all tasks.
Required skills
- Xero accounting software.
- QuickBooks accounting software.
