Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a responsible and highly organized Senior Accountant to maintain accurate financial records, provide clear management reporting and independently follow up on outstanding financial matters for our international sourcing and logistics business.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain complete client and project accounts, record quotations, sales orders, payments, fees and freight charges, and prepare detailed client statements.
• Manage supplier ledgers, verify payment requests against approved purchase orders, invoices and QC reports, and reconcile supplier statements.
• Control order‑level finances by linking client income and supplier costs, tracking estimated versus actual profitability, and producing profit reports.
• Prepare weekly finance reports, cash‑flow forecasts, and urgent risk summaries, highlighting overdue payments and cash shortages.
• Perform accounting and reconciliation tasks in Xero and the company ERP, including bank, cash, intercompany and multicurrency reconciliations.

Required profile

• Proactive and detail‑oriented with the ability to follow up on missing documents and resolve financial discrepancies without repeated reminders.
• Strong understanding of client, order and supplier financial positions, capable of alerting management to payment risks and upcoming commitments.
