Senior Dotnet Developer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Dotnet Developer to design, build, and maintain high‑performance web applications and services. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable solutions on cloud platforms while mentoring junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Build robust, secure RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Create responsive front‑end experiences with Angular, React, or similar frameworks.
• Design, optimise, and tune Microsoft SQL Server databases, including complex queries, stored procedures, and indexing.
• Integrate front‑end applications with backend APIs and third‑party services.
• Deploy and manage applications on Microsoft Azure or AWS, using services such as App Service, Functions, SQL, Storage, Key Vault, Service Bus, etc.
• Implement authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, Azure AD/Entra ID).
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.
• Participate in technical design reviews, architecture discussions, and code‑review processes.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimise performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Mentor junior and mid‑level developers and share technical knowledge.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem (ASP.NET Core.NET Core).
• Proven ability to design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience with modern front‑end frameworks (Angular or React) and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Deep knowledge of SQL Server, complex T‑SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Solid understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, design patterns, and ORM tools (Entity Framework Core, LINQ).
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS acceptable) and related services.
• Familiarity with source control (Git) and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Experience with Docker/containerisation.
• Ability to mentor and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
