Senior Finance Officer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Finance Officer to prepare and maintain MIS reports, conduct variance analysis, and ensure accurate financial reporting for management. The role involves close collaboration with multiple departments to support budgeting, forecasting, and audit activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain, and update monthly, quarterly, semi‑annual, and annual MIS reports.
• Conduct variance analysis by comparing budgeted and actual financial performance and highlight key business trends.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and reliable financial reporting for management.
• Maintain financial databases and records to support reporting and analysis.
• Extract, validate, and analyze financial data from accounting and ERP systems.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial reporting requirements, and internal controls.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets, financial forecasts, and planning models.
• Monitor budget utilization and report significant variances.
• Coordinate with various departments to collect financial and operational data.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required financial reports and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve MIS processes and reporting efficiency.

Required profile

• Semi‑Qualified Chartered Accountant, or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, or MIS.
