Senior Quality Assurance/Control Officer – Food Tech

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position in Kathmandu is responsible for implementing and monitoring quality standards across food‑technology operations. The officer ensures compliance with internal policies, GMP and other regulatory requirements while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor quality standards and procedures throughout the production process.
• Inspect processes and outputs, conduct quality checks, and document non‑conformities.
• Follow up on corrective and preventive actions to resolve identified issues.
• Support the development, maintenance, and improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Assist with internal and external audits, preparing required documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to address quality problems and identify improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Strong background in Quality Assurance and Quality Control, preferably with a degree or diploma in engineering, science, quality management or a related field.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and experience conducting quality audits.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail and proven ability to document and report quality data.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Prior experience in a quality‑focused role within manufacturing or service environments in Kathmandu is an advantage.
