Senior Tax Accountant

About the role

The Senior Tax Accountant will lead tax preparation and compliance activities for both individual and corporate clients, ensuring accurate filings and adherence to local tax laws while identifying opportunities for tax efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee tax preparation and compliance for individual and corporate clients, reviewing returns and ensuring adherence to tax laws.
• Analyze financial statements and coordinate with clients to gather necessary documentation.
• Research and interpret local tax regulations to identify opportunities for tax efficiency.
• Resolve tax‑related queries and support junior team members through guidance and review.
• Contribute to internal process improvements and collaborate with other accounting professionals to deliver high‑quality client service.

Required profile

• Proven experience in tax accounting or public accounting at a senior or supervisory level.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Effective communication skills to explain complex tax matters to clients.
• Relevant academic background (bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field); professional certifications such as CA or CPA are a plus.
