SEO & WordPress Specialist

About the role

Codetonic, a US‑based marketing agency, is seeking an experienced SEO & WordPress Specialist to help local businesses improve their online visibility. The role is fully remote, and the candidate must be based in Nepal.

Key responsibilities

• Manage local SEO for multiple small‑business clients, including keyword and competitor research, on‑page and technical optimization.
• Maintain and optimize Google Business Profiles and ensure accurate business information across local listings.
• Conduct SEO audits, implement improvements, and build service, location, and landing pages.
• Develop complete, responsive WordPress websites using Elementor when required.
• Handle ongoing website edits, content updates, plugin/theme updates, backups, and troubleshooting.
• Identify local link‑building opportunities and monitor rankings, traffic, and lead activity using Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Prepare clear reports and keep the team informed about progress and next steps.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of professional SEO experience with real client projects.
• Hands‑on experience managing local SEO and Google Business Profiles.
• Proven ability to manage multiple client SEO projects independently.
• Strong WordPress and Elementor skills, from setup to launch.
• Experience with Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Excellent written English and reliable project management.
• Based in Nepal and available for a full‑time remote role.
