Service Engineer (Heavy construction sector)

About the role

We are seeking a Service Engineer specialized in heavy construction equipment. The position requires visiting customer sites, diagnosing equipment faults, and performing repairs to maintain operational uptime.

Key responsibilities

• Visit defective machines at customer locations and carry out repair or maintenance as instructed.
• Complete Service Visit Reports (SVR) with customer signatures and verify data accuracy.
• Return general and special tools to the branch or tools executive after each job.
• Attend scheduled AMC machines according to supervisor directions.
• Maintain company‑provided basic tools in good condition.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
• At least 5‑6 years of experience in heavy‑equipment service (10 years acceptable without a formal degree).
• Strong knowledge of machinery maintenance, preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and machine servicing.
• Proven ability to work independently on field service operations, meet service commitments, and handle documentation such as SVRs, checklists, warranty forms, and photographs.
