About the role
Join the site team on a hydropower penstock and pressure shaft package.
Key responsibilities
- Set up the site fabrication yard and plant.
- Supervise fabrication, fit‑up and welding.
- Plan and run penstock installation and shaft erection.
- Prepare method statements and lifting plans.
- Work closely with QA/QC on inspections and NDT.
Required profile
- B.E. Mechanical degree.
- 5+ years in heavy steel fabrication and erection, preferably penstock, hydro‑mechanical or pressure vessel work.
- Comfortable with rigging and erection methods.
- Experience in site supervision.
