Smart Home & Security Technician

About the role

We are seeking a technically skilled and proactive Technician to install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot smart home and security solutions at customer and project sites across Kathmandu Valley. The role involves regular onsite visits, client coordination and teamwork to ensure installations are completed safely, correctly and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain CCTV, smart locks, access control systems, gate motors, smart curtains and other smart home solutions.
• Perform basic electrical wiring and technical installation work.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues at customer and project sites.
• Conduct regular site visits for installation, maintenance and service requirements.
• Coordinate with clients to understand and address technical concerns.
• Test installed systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance with safety standards.

Required profile

• Experience in the electrical field or previous work as a Technician.
• Basic knowledge of electrical wiring processes and methods.
• Diploma or technical education in electrical/technical fields (preferred).
• Good troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Motivated, responsible and proactive attitude with willingness to learn new technologies.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Own a two‑wheeler or be able to ride a scooter/motorcycle for site travel.
