Social Media Associate

About the role

The Social Media Associate will plan, create, manage and optimise United Academy Group’s social media presence across all assigned brands. The role aims to boost brand awareness, engage audiences, generate leads and ensure consistent brand communication.

Key responsibilities

• Develop monthly social media calendars and plan campaigns aligned with admissions, events and organisational objectives.
• Create engaging content – captions, reels, stories, carousels and static posts – and coordinate with design and video teams.
• Schedule and publish content on all social media platforms, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with academic, admissions, HR, events and other departments to gather information and meet content deadlines.
• Monitor inboxes, comments and direct messages, responding professionally and escalating enquiries when needed.
• Manage the Google Business Profile by publishing updates, monitoring reviews and encouraging positive feedback.
• Promote institutional events, achievements, programmes and student success stories through live coverage and post‑event content.
• Update digital display boards with current promotional material.
• Track performance using platform analytics, prepare monthly reports and recommend data‑driven improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience managing social media for brands.
• Strong written communication and ability to coordinate with multiple departments.
• Detail‑oriented with a proven track record of meeting content deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with major social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube).
• Experience using Google Business Profile for updates and review management.
• Ability to create and schedule diverse content formats (captions, reels, stories, carousels, static posts).
• Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting tools.
