Social Media Content Creator

About the role

The Social Media Content Creator will join the team in Kathmandu to plan, produce and publish engaging content that aligns with J&K’s brand voice and client objectives. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on creating posts, photos, short videos and basic graphics for various social platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, create and publish engaging social media content across platforms.
• Draft compelling captions and adapt tone for each channel.
• Capture and edit photos or short videos, and design basic graphics.
• Monitor social media performance and report insights.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure content aligns with broader marketing goals.
• Track trends, competitors and platform updates, recommending improvements and new ideas.

Required profile

• Strong skills in social media content creation, including clear, engaging captions.
• Ability to plan and organize content calendars and basic campaign strategies.
• Familiarity with visual content tools such as CapCut and basic photo/video editing software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; local language proficiency is a plus.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kathmandu, collaborate with cross‑functional teams and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Prior experience in social media, digital marketing or content creation preferred.
• Relevant education in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies or equivalent experience.
