Social Media Manager

About the role

The Social Media Manager is a full‑time, on‑site position in Kathmandu, responsible for planning, creating, and managing Bevel Unisex Salon’s presence across social media platforms. The role involves close collaboration with salon staff to produce visual content, track performance, and align social media activities with overall marketing goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain content calendars for all major platforms.
• Create, write, and publish engaging posts that reflect the brand voice.
• Optimize posts for reach and engagement, and respond promptly to comments and messages.
• Coordinate with salon staff to capture photos and videos for promotional use.
• Promote services, special offers, and events through social channels.
• Track performance metrics, analyze campaign results, and propose improvements.
• Collaborate with management to ensure social media aligns with broader marketing objectives.

Required profile

• Strong Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) expertise.
• Solid content strategy and writing abilities tailored to target audiences.
• Excellent communication skills for online client interaction and internal coordination.
• Basic analytics and reporting capability to interpret data and make recommendations.
• Experience managing social media for consumer‑facing brands, preferably in beauty, fashion, or lifestyle sectors.
• Familiarity with visual content creation tools such as Canva and basic photography/videography.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site in Kathmandu, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly to trends.
