About the role

The Social Media Manager will plan, create, and publish content across social media platforms to promote Education Asia’s services and brand, working on‑site in Kathmandu.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, create, and publish content across social media platforms to promote Education Asia’s services and brand.
• Manage social media calendars, optimize posts for reach and engagement, and monitor analytics.
• Collaborate with counseling, marketing, and operations teams to highlight student success stories, events, and partner institution updates.
• Respond to online queries and comments, support paid campaigns, and ensure consistent, professional communication across all digital channels.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience in education, student recruitment, or related service industries is an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in an on‑site team environment.

Required skills

• Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills.
• Effective communication and writing for clear, engaging online messaging.
• Ability to develop and execute content strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Familiarity with social media analytics tools and basic reporting.
• Comfort with basic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark) or coordinating with designers for visual content.
