Social Media Officer – Full‑time, On‑site in Kathmandu

About the role

This is a full‑time, on‑site Social Media Manager role based in Kathmandu. The Social Media Manager will plan, create, and schedule content across multiple social media platforms to build brand awareness and engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day social media operations and monitor channel performance.
• Respond to community interactions and maintain a consistent brand voice.
• Develop and execute social media strategies and campaigns.
• Collaborate with designers and writers, aligning social efforts with broader marketing initiatives.
• Track key metrics, prepare performance reports, and use insights to optimise content, posting schedules, and platform mix.

Required profile

• Strong Social Media Marketing and SMO experience managing brand profiles across key platforms.
• Proficiency in content strategy, writing, and planning content calendars.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage online communities.
• Familiarity with social media analytics tools and ability to interpret data.
• Knowledge of basic SEO, paid social campaigns, and overall digital marketing fundamentals.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kathmandu, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Previous experience in a social media, marketing, or agency role.
