Social Media Volunteer

About the role

Asha Ko Kiran, a nonprofit serving blind and low‑vision children in Panauti, Nepal, seeks a college student or recent graduate to manage its social media presence. This on‑site volunteer position involves creating visual content, scheduling posts, and engaging with the online community.

Key responsibilities

• Capture photos and short videos of daily life at the residential program.
• Create and schedule posts, reels, and captions for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.
• Maintain a simple content calendar.
• Respond to comments and messages in Nepali and English.

Required profile

• College student or recent graduate already producing social content.
• Fluent in spoken and written Nepali and English.
• Comfortable working with children and staff on site.
• Proactive, able to work independently, with drafts reviewed before publishing.

Required skills

• Canva
• CapCut or similar video editing tools
• Meta Business Suite
• Google Workspace
