SOP & Interview Preparation Officer

About the role

The SOP & Interview Preparation Officer helps Nepali students craft authentic Statements of Purpose and prepares them for university, visa and other admission‑related interviews. The role ensures students present themselves confidently and credibly throughout the study‑abroad application process.

Key responsibilities

• Guide students in creating personalised, well‑structured SOPs aligned with their academic background and career goals.
• Review and edit SOPs for clarity, coherence, and consistency with supporting documents.
• Conduct mock interview sessions, providing feedback on communication, confidence, content and presentation.
• Identify each student’s strengths and improvement areas, offering tailored coaching.
• Explain common interview questions and help students formulate genuine responses.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure SOPs, applications and interview preparation are consistent.
• Stay updated on university admission, visa and immigration requirements using official sources.

Required profile

• Excellent written and verbal English with strong SOP writing, editing and proofreading abilities.
• Proven coaching, interviewing and mentoring experience.
• Good knowledge of education systems in Australia, UK, New Zealand, USA (Canada a plus).
• Familiarity with university admission processes and interview formats.
• Patience and people‑skills to work with diverse student backgrounds.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to meet multiple deadlines.
• Commitment to integrity, honest student practice and confidentiality.
• Bachelor’s degree minimum; Master’s in English, Education, Management or Communication preferred; 2–3 years relevant experience.
